2012 Bears from the Heart Success!!

Our DAD GOYANs were able to distribute over 150 Build-a-Bears to residents at the house, and brought a wonderful joy to the kids for Valentine’s Day.

A Year of Youth Ministry in the D.A.D

In the coming year, we ask you to join the Youth Office in our mission to bring our young people closer to our Lord. We must make an active effort to directly connect the extra-curricular activities of the Church to our children’s Liturgical and Spiritual Life. As I said at our recent DAD Clergy Laity, if our children are only coming to the church for sports games and practices and not participating in the Liturgical Life of the Church, then we are failing those children.

Oratorical Speech

On May 7th, participants from all over the Direct Archdiocesan District gathered at St. Barbara’s in Orange, Connecticut to compete in the Oratorical Festival Finals. All of the participants gave amazing speeches and taught many aspects of their faith to their fellow competitors and the attendees.

The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is led by its director, Fr. Evagoras Constantinides, and is under the pastoral care of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios.
